Hard Work – But Glorious is a book about the Herefordshire Suffrage Campaign. Stories from this book include people from Leominster who were involved in the 19th and 20th century efforts to gain the vote for women. The walk will explore the town and visit where they lived, sharing what happened to them and how their involvement in the campaign led to debate, discussion and violence. This walk is a loop around the town, starting and finishing at Grange Court. There will be an opportunity after the walk to buy the book and purchase lunch from the Grange Court Café.
